Enable Gemini thinking with thinking_budget and include thought summaries in the response.

Usage

1. Set up your virtual environment

   Mac

   uv venv --python 3.12
   source .venv/bin/activate
   
2. Set your API key

   export GOOGLE_API_KEY=xxx
   
3. Install dependencies

   uv pip install -U google-genai agno
   
4. Run Agent

   Save the code above as thinking_agent.py, then run:

   python thinking_agent.py
